1. About MIINT
MIINT provides premium Sussex welcome hampers for guests staying at participating holiday properties and other approved accommodation.
Our hampers contain a selection of food, drink and locally produced Sussex products. Some hampers contain alcohol.
Access to MIINT ordering may be restricted to guests of participating properties and other customers authorised by MIINT.
2. Alcohol Sales — 18+ Only
Alcohol may only be purchased by persons aged 18 or over.
MIINT operates an age-verification policy and Challenge 25.
By placing an order containing alcohol, the purchaser confirms that:
they are aged 18 or over; and
the intended recipient of the alcohol is aged 18 or over.
Where required under MIINT's premises licence and age-verification procedures, recognised photographic identification may be requested before alcohol is handed over.
No valid ID where required means no alcohol delivery.
It is a criminal offence for a person under 18 to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol, and it is also an offence to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person aged under 18.
MIINT reserves the right to refuse or cancel an alcohol order where age eligibility cannot be satisfactorily established.
3. Alcohol Delivery
All alcohol supplied by MIINT is provided in sealed containers.
Alcohol orders must be paid for by credit card, debit card or other approved electronic payment method before the alcohol is supplied.
Alcohol may only be delivered to a residential or business address. MIINT will not deliver alcohol to public places.
Where MIINT staff, employees, agents or other persons instructed by MIINT make the alcohol delivery, the person accepting the delivery must be aged 18 or over and MIINT's Challenge 25 policy will apply.
4. Hamper Delivery and Property Access
Where agreed with the host or property manager, MIINT may be given authorised access to the accommodation before the guest's arrival in order to prepare and present the hamper.
The host/property manager is responsible for ensuring MIINT has the necessary permission and practical access to the property at the agreed time.
Customers are responsible for supplying accurate property, booking and contact information.
MIINT cannot be responsible for delays or failed setup caused by incorrect information, inaccessible premises, incorrect access codes, changes to arrival arrangements or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
5. Product Availability and Small-Batch Substitutions
MIINT works with independent and small-batch producers, many of whom produce goods seasonally or in limited quantities.
Occasionally, an individual product shown on the website may become unavailable.
Where this happens, MIINT may substitute that item with a carefully selected alternative of equivalent or higher quality and value, while maintaining the overall quality, character and value of the hamper.
Where a substitution is made, the replacement product may have different ingredients or allergen information. Customers should always check the label of the product actually supplied.
6. Product Images and Descriptions
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and information on the website are accurate.
However, packaging, vintages, presentation and individual small-batch products may change from time to time.
Images are illustrative and minor differences in packaging, colour, vintage, size or presentation may occur.
These changes do not affect your statutory rights.
7. Allergens and Ingredients
MIINT provides ingredient and allergen information to help customers make informed choices.
Customers must read the relevant Ingredients & Allergens information before ordering, particularly where anyone consuming the hamper has an allergy, intolerance, coeliac disease or other dietary requirement.
Products are supplied in their original manufacturer or producer packaging wherever applicable. Customers should always check the label on the actual product before consumption.
Although some products may be made without gluten-containing ingredients or supplied as gluten-free products, MIINT cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination unless this is specifically guaranteed by the producer.
The same applies to other allergens.
Customers with severe allergies should contact MIINT before placing an order if they require further information.
8. Gluten-Free Hampers
Where a Gluten-Free option is offered, MIINT will substitute the relevant products with gluten-free alternatives where available.
There is currently no additional charge for this option unless stated otherwise.
A Gluten-Free option means the selected products are supplied as gluten-free or contain no gluten ingredients according to the information provided by the producer.
MIINT cannot guarantee that every producer or production environment is completely free from cross-contamination.
Customers should always check individual product labels before consumption.
9. Wine and Alcohol Choices
Where a hamper allows the customer to choose a wine combination, the selection made when ordering will form part of the order.
Wine vintages may change according to producer availability.
Where a particular vintage becomes unavailable, MIINT may supply another vintage of the same wine unless this would materially alter the product ordered.
Alcohol is not sold separately unless expressly stated on the website.
10. Prices and Payment
All prices shown on the MIINT website are in Pounds Sterling (£).
The price payable is the price displayed at the time the order is placed.
Payment must be made in full before the order is supplied.
MIINT reserves the right to correct genuine pricing errors. If an error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer before fulfilling it.
11. Changes to Orders
If you need to change an order, please contact MIINT as soon as possible.
We will try to accommodate reasonable changes where preparation has not begun and products have not already been allocated or purchased specifically for the order.
We cannot guarantee that changes will be possible once preparation or fulfilment has started.
12. Cancellations
Because MIINT hampers contain food and other products that may be perishable, date-sensitive or prepared specifically for a guest's arrival, cancellation rights may vary according to the circumstances.
Where statutory cancellation rights apply, MIINT will honour those rights.
Certain distance-sale cancellation rights may not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or to goods made or prepared to a customer's specification. This does not affect a customer's rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise not as described.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact MIINT as soon as possible at hello@miint.ltd.
Where a cancellation is accepted after MIINT has begun purchasing ,allocating ,preparing or arranging products specifically for your order,MIINT may deduct from any refund the reasonable costs and losses actually incurred as a direct result of the cancellation, where permitted by law. We will take reasonable steps to minimise those costs.
This does not affect your statutory rights, including your rights where goods are faulty, damaged ,incorrectly supplied or otherwise not as described.
13. Refunds and Problems with an Order
If an item is damaged, missing, faulty or materially different from what was ordered, please contact MIINT as soon as reasonably possible.
Where appropriate, MIINT may offer a replacement, partial refund or full refund depending on the circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
14. Failed or Refused Alcohol Delivery
Where alcohol cannot lawfully be handed over because the required age verification has not been satisfied, MIINT may retain the alcohol.
Any refusal will be handled in accordance with MIINT's premises licence and refusal procedures.
Any refund entitlement will depend on the circumstances and any costs already reasonably incurred in preparing and attempting to fulfil the order, subject always to the customer's statutory rights.
15. Responsibility for Products After Delivery
Once products have been lawfully delivered and accepted, responsibility for appropriate storage and consumption passes to the recipient.
Customers and guests are responsible for following storage instructions, use-by dates and producer guidance shown on individual products.
Perishable products should be refrigerated where indicated.
16. Availability of the Service
MIINT may restrict its service to certain participating properties, geographical areas or delivery times.
Possession of an access code does not guarantee that MIINT can fulfil every requested date or location.
We may refuse or cancel an order where we are unable to fulfil it safely, legally or practically. Where MIINT cancels an order that has been paid for and no goods have been supplied, the appropriate refund will be made.
17. Access Codes
MIINT access codes are provided to participating hosts, property managers, authorised guests and other approved customers.
Codes must not be used fraudulently or in a way that attempts to bypass MIINT's ordering or age-verification requirements.
MIINT reserves the right to change, deactivate or replace access codes.
18. Privacy
MIINT processes personal information for purposes including taking orders, arranging delivery, communicating with customers, complying with legal and licensing obligations and maintaining required business records.
Please see our Privacy Policy for further details.

20. Changes to These Terms
MIINT may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, including where required to reflect changes in the law, our premises licence, our products or our operating procedures.
The version applying to an order will normally be the version displayed on the website when that order is placed.
